The 4th TEDxWabashCollege has been postponed...
Here's what you need to know:
Wabash College continues to work to plan for the arrival of coronavirus, guided by our commitment to minimize health risks for the community and to minimize disruption to the student experience.
We have made difficult decisions using an approach that integrates the guidance of public health agencies at the local, state, and national levels with the expertise of our campus health professionals.
The consensus of public health experts is that the coronavirus will be spread in communities across the nation.
In light of current information and advice, the TEDxWabashCollege event scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2020 has been postponed until the fall semester. It was determined that bringing over 400 people into an auditorium for the event was not in the best interest of students, guests, or public health.
We know this is very disappointing, but we want to be clear. While the 4th annual TEDxWabashCollege will not take place on March 21, this does not mean it will not take place at all.
The College is already looking for a date in the fall for the event. When we land on that date, we will contact all ticket holders with information on how to purchase new tickets to the event.
We will begin refunding ticket purchases later this week. We ask for patience and understanding as we take steps to wind-down the event.
Thank you for your understanding as we continue to prepare our campus.
UPDATE - 3/15/20: TEDxWabashCollege has refunded all tickets. If you were expecting a refund and did not receive one, please email TEDxWabashCollege at email@example.com
